After 30+ years of home brewing, I have finally decided to fulfill my dream of starting my own brewery in Owego, NY. My first batch was brewed in the 'dry' town of Ocean City, NJ, in a one-bedroom apartment. Since then, I have brewed hundreds of batches and have gained experience that I am excited to bring to the Owego Brewing Co.
Our Story
The Owego Brewing Company is excited to welcome you to our newly renovated facility located at 187 Main St, Owego, NY. Since opening our doors in Fall 2024, the Owego brewery has been dedicated to crafting small barrel batches onsite as a nano-brewery. We offer an impressive selection of beers, ranging from lighter ales to dark stouts, including IPA’s, Wheat Ales, Lagers, Porters, and Stouts. Additionally, we feature specialty brews like Raspberry Wheat, Pumpkin Ale, and various seasonal specialties, showcasing the best of Owego brewing.
Rooftop Deck
Our downtown location, previously known as Kathy Cakes, has been completely remodeled and expanded to now feature a covered rooftop deck. While this site will now be recognized as The Owego Brewing Company, the beloved Kathy Cakes will continue operations at the Owego brewery, offering her specialty cakes, cookies, and cupcakes on-site.
